My Top 20 Films.

I love films of all different genres. I would say chick flicks are my favourites but I do also love a good thriller. I was going to do my top 10 but it was way too hard to decide, it was hard enough getting it down to 20! Really hard, I love SO many! A lot of time has been taken into my decision and I’m still not 100% certain on the order I have put them in if I’m honest! Everyone’s favourite films do change from time to time though. There are a mixture of newbies and oldies in there, but most of them are my old time favourites! Here we go..

1. SAVING MR BANKS
Even though this is a very new film it has crawled to the top of my list as my favourite film. I absolutely love it. It’s very well made and the story is fantastic. And not to mention it is a Disney film so it’s bound to be brilliant!
2. A CINDERELLA STORY
This has been my all time favourite film for years until Saving Mr Banks. I love Disneys Cinderella and this newly updated version even more. I love where it’s set, I love what it represents and I love the cuteness of the story.
3. ALL THE HARRY POTTERS
I know I’m cheating here by putting them all but I couldn’t pick one and all 8 would take up a lot of my limited 20 spaces! I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, the whole concept fascinates me and I could watch all 8 films over and over again.
4. CINDERELLA
My favourite Disney film from being a little girl. I love the songs, the story, the magic and the love story.
5. JUST GO WITH IT
My favourite chick flick! Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are just absolutely brilliant together. It’s a really fun loving, enjoyable film which I would recommend to anyone.
6. THE HOLIDAY
A classic! One to watch around Christmas mainly but again a film I could watch over and over. All characters are brilliant and complement each other perfectly. I love the two different love stories that build the film. It’s such a cute film.
7. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
I love the concept of this film. A really great idea of museum artifacts coming to life. I do love a bit of history and this cheery favourite displays some great characters and info.
8. THE PARENT TRAP
A golden oldie! A really cute film all surrounded around a family getting back together. I always shead a Little tear.
9. THE NOTEBOOK
A very very sad film but a brilliant love story. I personally love it, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling play such great parts and make such a sad topic much more easy to watch.
10. MEAN GIRLS
I’ve loved this film since being a teenager, what teenager didn’t love this film? Loved it then and I still love it now.
11. TOY STORY
Who wouldn’t love a film where toys come to life and speak? Definitely my favourite Pixar film.
12. SKYFALL
My favourite Bond film. It’s perfectly put together to create a master piece! Daniel Craig is also my favourite Bond, he’s everything James Bond should be in my opinion. The story of Skyfall is unfaultable, a really great story!
13. PRETTY WOMEN
A classic story where a women goes from rags to riches. Definitely one of Julia Roberts best films!
14. MATILDA
I love the story of Matilda. A little girl who is in fact born into the wrong family but gets her happy ending in the end. A lovely happy film.
15. MONSTERS INK
Another of my Pixar favourites. A story of two best friends working together and looking after a little girl, but they are monsters! A nice fun loving film.
16. BILLY ELLIOT
I have always loved dance and I love how Billy pursues his dream of becoming a dancer. I also love all the other issues this film explores.
17. AVATAR
A really fascinating concept that explores so many different issues. I just love it!
18. INCEPTION
A film that really messes with your head. I love films that you really have to think about and this is one that gets you every time!
19. BRIDESMAIDS
A really funny chick flick with fantastic actors. A really great pick me up film that cheers me up every time!
20. BLENDED
A very recent film but it has made my top 20. I love all Adam Sandler films and this is one of his best. A great film set in the perfect location, a perfect love story ☺️
