Shopping Haul: The Body Shop.

Hi guys, how’s your week going? I’ve been off work today and I’ve had a lovely relaxing, chilled day, so I’m feeling great! A couple of months ago now I was invited to my first Body Shop Party at a friends house and I am now a Body Shop convert! I am absolutely loving everything and I can’t stop buying. So I thought I would share with you my personal favourites at the moment. And guess what I got the chance to mess around with my camera too 😁

My personal favourite out of them all is the ‘Satsuma Energising Lotion‘, it smells absolutely amazing! I really love how it makes my skin feel and smell. I have been complemented on it so many times too, everyone seems to love it. And it’s only £3.00!

The ‘Satsuma Shower Gel‘ complements the body lotion perfectly. It is very hard wearing and lasts the whole day. It is only a small container though and I wished it came in a bigger version! You can buy this for £4.00, which is a little pricey for the size, but I promise it is definitely worth it! I love the smell of the ‘Coconut Shower Cream‘ too. It also has a much smoother texture with it being a cream rather than a gel. It leaves your skin again feeling super soft and the distinct smell is certain to get people wondering what your wearing! This product is also £4.00.

I can honestly say that the ‘VITAMIN E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion‘ is the best face lotion I have ever used to wipe off remaining makeup. I have had a lot of problems in the past with allergic reactions to face lotions and I have had no problem whatsoever with this product. It also leaves your face feeling fresh and soft which most other face lotions don’t. You can buy this for £9.50 and it’s worth every penny!

I hadn’t heard of a BB cream before I purchased the ‘All-in-One Body Shop BB Cream‘ but apparently it has been around for a while and many other brands sell it. I think this product is like magic, ha!! It is like a foundation but then isn’t a foundation, it’s very hard to explain. You rub the cream into your face and it brings out your natural colours, so it’s different for everyone. You just have to try it to understand what I mean, but it is a great substitute for foundation when your in a rush and don’t have the time to mess about with contouring and normal foundation. This FANTASTIC product is £12.00, definitely give it a try.

The ‘Coconut Hand Cream‘ is just the perfect size for your hand bag. It smells like coconuts and really soothes your hands, what more could you want? This little treasure is only £4.00.

I’m thinking with Christmas coming up (we are only 3 months away, can you believe it?!) that all these products would make great gifts! I will definitely be getting The Body Shop products for my loved ones. Their Christmas Catalogue is out very soon and I really can’t wait to have a browse through. Check out their website, to view all these products, and keep an eye out for their festive products in their Christmas Catalogue, I’m sure they will be divine!

Take care,
Emily Jane

Tea, Family, Books: Happy Sunday.

Hi Everyone! How are we all? I’ve actually found some time to write a quick blog! Can you believe it?! I’ve been working none stop as I’ve mentioned over and over again and I still haven’t got round to planning out more time to enjoy writing for my blog. However, on this beautiful Sunday afternoon I have been doing a lot of thinking.p and planning. How have you spent your Sunday? What do you get up to most Sunday’s?

I’ve had a really lovely day today and I’m feeling AMAZING! I just wanted to share with you my top 6 things to do on a ‘boring’ Sunday to keep you feeling relaxed and leave you feeling great because..

1.Get up EARLY! – make the most of the day.

– Although I’ve been working lots (even Saturday’s at the moment) and could have done with a nice long lie in this morning, I decided to get up early so that I had more time to do the things I wanted. Some me time, some family time and just time to do whatever I wanted and it really does feel like I’ve made more of my day.

2.Have some ME TIME – Read a good book!

– don’t you just love it when you find a book that you just can’t put down? A book that you can’t wait to find the time to read, a book that you get excited about reading? I personally love that. I can’t say that I’ve always been a big reader, but lately I am really enjoying reading. I am loving my newfound love for it! I’m currently reading ‘Girl Online by Zoe Sugg‘. Yes I know it’s a book that’s probably a little young for me, but I’m actually loving it. I’m a sucker for a good love story!

3.Spend time with FAMILY.

– life always gets in the way, everyone knows it. We promise family members that we will arrange meet ups and they never happen because life takes over and days become weeks and weeks become months! Family time is so important, and Sunday’s are the perfect time to make time for family.

4.Drink lots of TEA and eat CAKE.

– tea, tea, tea. That’s all I can think about on a Sunday morning, much more than any other day actually. I’m not sure why if I’m honest! I just know I have the time to sit down and enjoy it I think. A cup of Tea accompanied with a good book, a blanket and a slice of cake, makes a great afternoon treat and leaves you feeling super relaxed!

5.Go on a long WALK

– a long walk gives you time to yourself, keeps you calm and can relieve all stress. Having the wind blowing through your hair, nobody around and no technology with you, makes you feel completely free. It works for me anyway!

6.Spend some time thinking about YOU.

– personally, I don’t spend enough time thinking about myself and what I want. But today, I’ve spent quite a long time thinking of what I want to do next, where I want to be. I have set some goals and made some promises to myself today and I’m feeling super positive. I highly recommend spending time on yourself, and a Sunday afternoon, when you are struggling for things to do, is the perfect time to just sit and reflect.

I hope these help. I know that some people hate Sunday’s as the dread of work tomorrow morning creeps in. But I promise if you give some of these tips a go, you will end up feeling super relaxed and ready for the week ahead. I’ve certainly had a great day, and managed to do all this!

Have a great week!

A Day at the Farm.

A couple of weeks ago now I spend the afternoon at my friends farm where she keeps her horse, Saint. He is an absolutely beautiful horse although he really didn’t want his picture taken ha! I did manage to get some good ones in the end though. I’m pretty happy with these few..

What do you think? Any help or advice on my photos would be very much appreciated! I understand hat taking pictures of animals can be very challenging but I personally do love doing it; they make great photos! We also had Sadie with us, my friends dog. Just look how cute she is; She was as boisterous and lively as ever but completely adorable!

I’ve always wanted to get into horse riding but never really got round to it. I was having a chat with my friend and I may have been persuaded to give it a go! I’m not too sure if I can handle the dirt and smell all the time though haha!

Only a quick post this evening and not a very exciting one, I just wanted to share my pictures and get some feedback really 🙂

Bye for now,

Emily Jane,
