Autumn Lipsticks.

I wanted to try something new this Autumn, I’ve always done my makeup then same and I just wanted to mix it up a little bit. So, I’ve bought some darker lipsticks and I’m loving them! I was so worried about them not suiting me and thought I would end up hating them but I think they look great! I thought I’d share with you my top favourites, (I’ve tried so many!) to see if you fancy giving them a go.

They are all from the Rimmel collection as I know that I am okay with their products. I have such sensitive skin so I don’t like to risk it with others. I mean, why should I when I have so many beautiful colours to choose from?!

My personal favourite is from the ‘Kate’ collection within Rimmel which is a lovely Maroon colour. It looks adoreabke on and matches with pretty much every outfit. This particular shade is number 107.

Next we have number ‘128’ from Rimmel London which is a gorgeous plum colour. This one actually has a name too: ‘Starry-eyed’. Although it’s harder to match with your chosen outfits I really do love this colour. It makes your lips stand out and it’s something a little bit different.

Finally, I’ve chosen a more lighter purple which is number ‘180’. This is one I had last year that I wore all the time so I’m happy to finally have it back and I look forward to wearing it again. I got so many compliments with this lipstick last year, it’s beaut! It is actually called ‘Vintage Pink‘ but it comes out more purpley!

What do you think? Will you be giving any of them a go? Have you tried any new dark or bright lipsticks this year, I’d love to find some more.

Take care,

Emily Jane xo

Shopping Haul: The Body Shop.

Hi guys, how’s your week going? I’ve been off work today and I’ve had a lovely relaxing, chilled day, so I’m feeling great! A couple of months ago now I was invited to my first Body Shop Party at a friends house and I am now a Body Shop convert! I am absolutely loving everything and I can’t stop buying. So I thought I would share with you my personal favourites at the moment. And guess what I got the chance to mess around with my camera too 😁

My personal favourite out of them all is the ‘Satsuma Energising Lotion‘, it smells absolutely amazing! I really love how it makes my skin feel and smell. I have been complemented on it so many times too, everyone seems to love it. And it’s only £3.00!

The ‘Satsuma Shower Gel‘ complements the body lotion perfectly. It is very hard wearing and lasts the whole day. It is only a small container though and I wished it came in a bigger version! You can buy this for £4.00, which is a little pricey for the size, but I promise it is definitely worth it! I love the smell of the ‘Coconut Shower Cream‘ too. It also has a much smoother texture with it being a cream rather than a gel. It leaves your skin again feeling super soft and the distinct smell is certain to get people wondering what your wearing! This product is also £4.00.

I can honestly say that the ‘VITAMIN E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion‘ is the best face lotion I have ever used to wipe off remaining makeup. I have had a lot of problems in the past with allergic reactions to face lotions and I have had no problem whatsoever with this product. It also leaves your face feeling fresh and soft which most other face lotions don’t. You can buy this for £9.50 and it’s worth every penny!

I hadn’t heard of a BB cream before I purchased the ‘All-in-One Body Shop BB Cream‘ but apparently it has been around for a while and many other brands sell it. I think this product is like magic, ha!! It is like a foundation but then isn’t a foundation, it’s very hard to explain. You rub the cream into your face and it brings out your natural colours, so it’s different for everyone. You just have to try it to understand what I mean, but it is a great substitute for foundation when your in a rush and don’t have the time to mess about with contouring and normal foundation. This FANTASTIC product is £12.00, definitely give it a try.

The ‘Coconut Hand Cream‘ is just the perfect size for your hand bag. It smells like coconuts and really soothes your hands, what more could you want? This little treasure is only £4.00.

I’m thinking with Christmas coming up (we are only 3 months away, can you believe it?!) that all these products would make great gifts! I will definitely be getting The Body Shop products for my loved ones. Their Christmas Catalogue is out very soon and I really can’t wait to have a browse through. Check out their website, to view all these products, and keep an eye out for their festive products in their Christmas Catalogue, I’m sure they will be divine!

Take care,
Emily Jane

Shopping Haul: Loving Pink!

Hi Guys!

So sorry I haven’t posted in so long I have been very busy and had so much going on in my personal life so I’ve decided to have a little break from it all. But I’ll be back with lots of new and exciting posts at the beginning of next week hopefully – I cant wait to share with you what I have been up to! I thought I would share a little ‘Shopping Haul’ from this week. I really cannot stop spending money lately, it’s all I’m doing with my spare time, whether it’s online or me hitting the shops in person. This month I seem to be loving pink! All of my purchases have been pink in some way. So I thought I would share my ‘Pink Shopping Favourites’ from this month with you:

Pink Striped Top, £12.99 NEW LOOK – I fell in LOVE with this top as soon as I saw it. I loved the design and it was the perfect shape and style for my body type, so I had to have it.

Pink Purse, £11.99 NEXT – I have needed a new purse for so long now and I tend to be very fussy about them! This one is just ideal for me, the right amount of pockets and a separate part for all my change.

Pink Body Spray, £6.00, NEXT – I’ve always thought the smell of this particular body spray is gorgeous ever since I worked at NEXT 2 years ago but I never got round to buying myself one, so this month was the time!

Nail Varnish, £5.99, SUPERDRUG – I’m loving pink at the moment so I had to have a new pink nail varnish, of course!

Pink Body Lotion, Free, SUPERDRUG – I got this free with my nail varnish and it just happened to be pink. What a surprise!

Pink Candle, £3.00, NEW LOOK – I got this candle in the summer sale at New Look and it smells absolutely divine!

Mug, £2.00, B&M – I’m drinking endless amounts of tea at the moment and this mug caught my eye when I was browsing this weekend.

I mainly did the post to practice some photography but I guess it works as a good shopping haul too! I’m certainly loving pink at the moment, I wonder how long it will last!?

Keep smiling,
Emily Jane
