Autumn Lipsticks.

I wanted to try something new this Autumn, I’ve always done my makeup then same and I just wanted to mix it up a little bit. So, I’ve bought some darker lipsticks and I’m loving them! I was so worried about them not suiting me and thought I would end up hating them but I think they look great! I thought I’d share with you my top favourites, (I’ve tried so many!) to see if you fancy giving them a go.

They are all from the Rimmel collection as I know that I am okay with their products. I have such sensitive skin so I don’t like to risk it with others. I mean, why should I when I have so many beautiful colours to choose from?!

My personal favourite is from the ‘Kate’ collection within Rimmel which is a lovely Maroon colour. It looks adoreabke on and matches with pretty much every outfit. This particular shade is number 107.

Next we have number ‘128’ from Rimmel London which is a gorgeous plum colour. This one actually has a name too: ‘Starry-eyed’. Although it’s harder to match with your chosen outfits I really do love this colour. It makes your lips stand out and it’s something a little bit different.

Finally, I’ve chosen a more lighter purple which is number ‘180’. This is one I had last year that I wore all the time so I’m happy to finally have it back and I look forward to wearing it again. I got so many compliments with this lipstick last year, it’s beaut! It is actually called ‘Vintage Pink‘ but it comes out more purpley!

What do you think? Will you be giving any of them a go? Have you tried any new dark or bright lipsticks this year, I’d love to find some more.

Take care,

BEST THINGS ABOUT THE TRIP:

– Spending time with my family and all being together.

– Taking lots and lots of photos.

– Touring around such a fantastic city with so much history to learn about.

– Both theatre trips as they were both equally AMAZING!

– Riding around on the tube.

– Having time away from ‘real life’, to relax and do what we like.

6 Things I would RECOMMEND when visiting London:

– Buy theatre tickets on the day of the performance, it saves you so much money. And get them from a little ticket booth in Leicester Square.

– Wear extremely comfortable shoes.

– Use the tube to travel – £6.50 for the day to travel in zone 1 (the touristy places!)

– Visit M&M world- it’s like chocolate heaven!

– Go on a boat cruise, you learn so much and see things you never would on land. And you can take some amazing photos!

– Go and see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda in the west end! (Blogs to follow reviewing each show!)

I really do hope this post has inspired you to visit the fantastic city! There really is so much to do and learn and I can guarantee you will have a great time. We certainly had a really lovely, jam packed, weekend down South! I really hope to visit again soon! I’ve shared some of my snaps too, I hope you like them. 🙂

Have you visited London lately? Can you recommend any places I can visit next time I visit? I am fascinated with the city and would really love to learn more, let me know below..

Shopping Haul: The Body Shop.

Hi guys, how’s your week going? I’ve been off work today and I’ve had a lovely relaxing, chilled day, so I’m feeling great! A couple of months ago now I was invited to my first Body Shop Party at a friends house and I am now a Body Shop convert! I am absolutely loving everything and I can’t stop buying. So I thought I would share with you my personal favourites at the moment. And guess what I got the chance to mess around with my camera too 😁

6-2
My personal favourite out of them all is the ‘Satsuma Energising Lotion‘, it smells absolutely amazing! I really love how it makes my skin feel and smell. I have been complemented on it so many times too, everyone seems to love it. And it’s only £3.00!

7-2
The ‘Satsuma Shower Gel‘ complements the body lotion perfectly. It is very hard wearing and lasts the whole day. It is only a small container though and I wished it came in a bigger version! You can buy this for £4.00, which is a little pricey for the size, but I promise it is definitely worth it! I love the smell of the ‘Coconut Shower Cream‘ too. It also has a much smoother texture with it being a cream rather than a gel. It leaves your skin again feeling super soft and the distinct smell is certain to get people wondering what your wearing! This product is also £4.00.

3-3

I can honestly say that the ‘VITAMIN E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion‘ is the best face lotion I have ever used to wipe off remaining makeup. I have had a lot of problems in the past with allergic reactions to face lotions and I have had no problem whatsoever with this product. It also leaves your face feeling fresh and soft which most other face lotions don’t. You can buy this for £9.50 and it’s worth every penny!

1
I hadn’t heard of a BB cream before I purchased the ‘All-in-One Body Shop BB Cream‘ but apparently it has been around for a while and many other brands sell it. I think this product is like magic, ha!! It is like a foundation but then isn’t a foundation, it’s very hard to explain. You rub the cream into your face and it brings out your natural colours, so it’s different for everyone. You just have to try it to understand what I mean, but it is a great substitute for foundation when your in a rush and don’t have the time to mess about with contouring and normal foundation. This FANTASTIC product is £12.00, definitely give it a try.

2

The ‘Coconut Hand Cream‘ is just the perfect size for your hand bag. It smells like coconuts and really soothes your hands, what more could you want? This little treasure is only £4.00.

I’m thinking with Christmas coming up (we are only 3 months away, can you believe it?!) that all these products would make great gifts! I will definitely be getting The Body Shop products for my loved ones. Their Christmas Catalogue is out very soon and I really can’t wait to have a browse through. Check out their website http://www.thebodyshop.com, to view all these products, and keep an eye out for their festive products in their Christmas Catalogue, I’m sure they will be divine!

Take care,
Emily Jane
